32 Analogue Inputs (16 per unit)
24 Analogue Inputs in use
All Analogue Inputs are fed from 3 Rack Devices. ( 1. Audient ASP800 / 2. Focusrite OctoPre MKII (#1) / 3. Focusrite OctoPre MKII (#2) ):
1*8 Analogue Inputs (1-8) are fed from the Audient ASP800 into the Device (unit 1): Slot Analogue IO Card, via DSub to DSub Loom (labelled: HD I/O #1 in ProTools Hardware Settings).
ProTools INPUTS: 'ASP800 (CYC) IN 1-8'
1*8 Analogue Inputs (9-16) are fed from the Focusrite OctoPre MKII (#1) into the Device (unit 1): Slot Analogue IO Card, via XLR to DSub Loom (labelled: HD I/O #1 in ProTools Hardware Settings).
ProTools INPUTS: 'OctoPre MkII (CYC) IN 9-16'
1*8 Analogue Inputs (1-8) are fed from the Focusrite OctoPre MKII (#2) into the Device (unit 2): Slot Analogue IO Card, via XLR to DSub Loom (labelled: HD I/O #2 in ProTools Hardware Settings).
ProTools INPUTS: 'OctoPre MkII (CYC) IN 17-24'
32 Analogue Outputs (16 per unit)
1*8 Analogue Outputs (1-8 only 1, 3 & 6 are used) are fed from the Device (unit 1) to the C|24 Console ('Pro Tools In') via DSub to DSub Loom (labelled: HD I/O #1 in ProTools Hardware Settings).
Pro Tools OUTPUTS: 'Stereo Out' (1→L & 3→R), 'LFE' (6→LFE)
1*8 Analogue Outputs (1-8) are fed from the Device (unit 2) to the Wall Box via DSub to XLR Loom for the Cue Sends in the Cyclorama and Post Edit Control Room (labelled: HD I/O #2 in ProTools Hardware Settings).
ProTools OUTPUTS: 'Cue 1, Cue 2, Cue 3, ATEM PEC'
1*8 Analogue Outputs (9-16) are fed from the Device (unit 2) to the C|24 Console ('Surround In') via DSub Loom for Ableton's Main L & R Outputs.
Ableton OUTPUTS: 'Monitors' (Channel's 25 & 26 in Ableton's output config settings).
Balanced XLR/TRS Combo Connectors * 8 (Note: Line level over TRS, Mic Level over XLR)
The 2 * XLR/TRS Combo Connectors on the front panel accept Mic, Line and Hi-Z (DI) inputs (Channels 1-2 only)
BNC Wordclock * 1 (for slaving to external digital devices)
Each unit provides 8 channels of inputs from the Cyclorama:
OctoPre MkII (unit 1) - AV Wall Box P2
OctoPre MkII (unit 2) - AV Wall Box P3
Balanced TRS Line * 8
ADAT * 2 (Supports 8 channels per port (16 total) at 48kHz)
Note: when using both ADAT output ports, the digital outputs are mirrored, providing outputs 1 - 8 on both ports.
The Analogue TRS Outputs of these devices connect into the AVID HDIO units to accommodate Pro Tools Inputs:
Unit 1: OctoPre MkII (CYC) IN 9-16
Unit 2: OctoPre MkII (CYC) IN 17-24
Under the Hardware options in Pro Tools, they are configured as follows:
Unit 1: 'HD I/O #1' as: 'Analogue Input 9-16'
Unit 2: 'HD I/O #2' as: 'Analogue Input 1-8'
Balanced XLR/TRS Combo Connectors * 8 (Note: Line level over TRS, Mic Level over XLR)
ADAT * 1 (Supports up to 8 Channels of digital audio at 48kHz)
BNC Wordclock * 1 (for slaving to external digital devices)
This unit provides 8 channels of inputs from the Cyclorama (AV Wall Box P1).
Balanced Analogue Line * 8
ADAT * 1 (Supports up to 8 Channels of digital audio at 48kHz)
The Balanced Analogue Line Outputs of this device connect into the Avid HD/IO (unit 1) to accommodate the following Pro Tools inputs:
ASP800 (CYC) IN 1-8
Under the Hardware options in Pro Tools it is configured under the peripheral 'HD I/O #1' as:
'Analogue 1-2, Analogue 3-4, Analogue 5-6, Analogue 7-8'.
