Each channel has numerous controls, dials and switches:
'A - Mix - B' Dial - This is to mix between the two main source inputs: 'Mix A' and 'Mix B'
'Ext In' Dial - This is NOT currently used across any of the channels.
'Level' Dial - This is the overall volume/level that will send to the connected channel output.
'Mute' Switch - This is a latch switch to toggle the mute across the channel's output.
'Mono' Switch - This is used to Mono sum the selected input source.
This devices manages all the MIDI traffic between all compatible outboard devices and the host (iMac Computer).
MIDI INPUTS refers to the MIDI Data sent TO the outboard devices.
MIDI OUTPUTS refers to MIDI Data being sent FROM the Midi compatible device/synth.
There are spare MIDI DIN cables hanging available for use for anyone that would like to bring in their own MIDI DIN compatible devices
