Repair Updates:
SSL
The Genelec 1037’s have been repaired and are now back on campus.
API
Ground noise during recording has been resolved. XLR connector in the control room junction box was replaced.
Neve:
5 x LA500’s have returned from repair. They’ve been reinstalled into the Neve studio and are functioning well.
5 x FC500’s have been removed from the Neve. They have been sent to JLM for repair & service. I have confirmed that they are in the workshop and will be returned soon.
Tech team is currently investigating Channel 19, the channel currently isn’t functioning. Please avoid this channel while we look into the root of the issue.
Aputure 600x LED’s:
600x #2 The power supply is not functioning. This unit has been sent off for repair, we will provide updates as we receive more information regarding repair status.
600X #01 The power supply is currently still out for repair. ETC is still undetermined.
Aputure 200x LED’s
200x #02 The glass in the protective shell has been shattered. New glass has been ordered, and will be installed once it arrives
200x #03 The power supply is no longer functioning. A new one has been ordered and is currently in transit.
Jib:
A new locking screw has been installed. The Jib is back to full functionality.
3Studio Updates:
EMP revamp:
Revamped layout & new equipment has been installed into the studio to increase the functionality and streamline the workflow:
Monitor controller: Behringer Studio L.
Rack mounted Preamps: Focusrite Octopre’s, patched 8 mic lines to Live Room 1.
Headphone Amp: ART HeadAmp4, patched to Live Room 1
Patch bay insert points have been updated for a better workflow within the space. All the changes to work flow have been added to the new EMP how to guide, accessible in the Tech Portal.
Live room rehearsal space:
We will be permanently installing a PA & drum kit into live room 4. New woofers for the Yamaha A15 passive speakers have been swapped; they will be installed along with a mixer for a more streamlined set up with band rehearsals.

Studio & Equipment How to Guide’s Revamp:
The Tech Team have been going through the current how to guides in the Tech Portal. They are currently being updated. Working with lecturers to ensure students have all the required information to operate the studios. These will be rolled out as they are completed.
