Before Class

Complete these class preparation tasks prior to this weeks class.

In class activities

2.In groups of 3, wrangle Impulse Responses using the Zoom H6 Recorder (add the audio to your G:Drive and link to your LJ):

a. Stairwell

b. Studio 1 control room

c. Live room (unbaffled)

d. Live room (tightly baffled)


2.2 - Transfer samples to the computer and edit in your DAW of choice. (Pro Tools tab-to-transient feature makes this easy - use video below to help).

2.3 - Add edited samples to a folder called "Franklin Street IRs" and load folder into Avid's Space.

2.4 - Use on a bus to recreate these spaces.

2.5 Observe the following in your LJ:

a. Decay time

b. Frequency response

c. Relationship between Early and Late reflections.
