FULLY ONLINE COURSE with PROCTORED EXAMS
This course is asynchronous which means it is delivered completely online. There are no scheduled class meetings. All your course materials and assignments/exams will be accessed through Canvas.
This course requires the use of Proctorio, an online proctoring service, for exams. There is no additional cost to students for the use of this service. To verify your identity, you will need to show a valid government issued photo ID with your name and photograph clearly visible. You may block out or cover any other personal information such as your birthdate, address, or driver’s license/passport number.
Students are required to purchase access to McGraw Hill Connect to participate in this course. Exams for this course will be administered through Canvas/Connect and will use an online proctoring system. The proctoring system requires students to have a computer with a Chrome browser, web camera (stand alone or built into the computer), and a microphone. Loaner laptops are available free of charge to check out for the semester at the Saddleback College Library. Proctorio does not support Chrome OS and iPad OS. Students will be given an orientation and practice assignment with the proctoring software prior to taking exams. This course cannot be completed on an iPad; it requires the use of Canvas and a laptop/desktop with reliable access to the internet.
Course dates: August 17th - December 12th (full semester 17 week course)
August 17th - October 10th (1st 8 week course)
October 19th - December 12th (2nd 8 week course)
Students must log in by: the first day of class
17 WEEK Course-Week ONE and Week TWO to-do list: Purchase textbook, complete Orientation Module, submit Syllabus Quiz, register in Connect, submit Discussion Board #1 (three posts), submit Proctorio Orientation, and complete Chapter 1 Connect Assignments.
8 WEEK Course-Week ONE to-do list: Purchase textbook, complete Orientation Module, submit Syllabus Quiz, register in Connect, submit Discussion Board #1 (three posts), and complete Chapters 1 and 2 Connect Assignments along with the Proctorio Orientation.

1. Prepare a set of basic financial statements and analyze the statements by calculating and analyzing common ratios and numerical relationships that are derived from them.
