Olivia: Hey there, I'm Olivia! I look forward to sharing our research with you all. Word of warning: get ready to see a lot of flies on this website!

I took the Intro to Biotechnology course last year, and I am so grateful to be in a program that lets us do our own research! In what little spare time I have, I do the best sport (AKA cross country) and volunteer at the local hospital.

I'm the president of the biotechnology club and the public relations officer of Science NHS. After my conducting my own research, I have become a mentor to current research students. In the future, I hope to attend a university that allows me to conduct research as an undergraduate to continue my path towards becoming a MD/PhD.

Anna: Hello! My name is Anna, and science is my all time favorite subject. Just walking into my biotech class makes my day better. I am very lucky to be conducting research of my own because not everyone gets this amazing opportunity, and I am so excited to gain new experiences and skills from this class. Whenever I’m not in school, I play the clarinet, basketball, tennis, and I love to rock climb!
