First Orientation RTRU.15
The Radiological Technology Division organized an orientation program for new students, Batch 15, on August 3, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The objective was to familiarize new students with proper procedures and adapt to their peers, meet faculty, staff, and become acquainted with the campus facilities and university-level learning systems.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pinsupa Peetirakskul provided detailed information about the curriculum and teaching management strategies, introduced faculty members and staff, and facilitated interactions between senior and new students.
RT Readiness Program 2020
The Division of Radiological Technology organized the "Radiological Technology Readiness Program" for the academic year 2020 on August 10, 2020, at the parking and recreational building. The event aimed to prepare new students, RTRU.15, for their future studies and careers in radiological technology. During the program, senior students guided their junior counterparts on a tour of the laboratories, explaining basic principles of using radiation technology equipment. The initiative not only aimed to enhance the readiness of junior students but also fostered positive relationships between seniors and juniors.
Waikru-Academic year 2020
In commemoration of the academic year 2020, the Division of Radiologic Technology held its annual Teacher Appreciation Ceremony ("Waikru") on August 21, 2020, at Room RTD405, 4th Floor of the Parking and Recreation Building. The primary objective of this ceremony was to uphold the cherished customs and traditions of Thailand by demonstrating profound respect for our educators. Students pledged to embody the core values of gratitude, integrity, honesty, and moral rectitude, and to apply the knowledge acquired to excel in their respective professions and contribute positively to society in the future.
The Division had the privilege of welcoming Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonchal Thongprayoon, representing the Acting President of Ramkhamhaeng University, to preside over the ceremony. Dr. Thongprayoon delivered an address emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and character development. Following his remarks, students were presented with ceremonial gowns and certificates of merit in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
Concluding the formal proceedings, students participated in a collective homage-paying ritual to His Majesty King Ramkhamhaeng, followed by a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
Volunteer project
On November 9, 2020, the Radiation Technology Department organized a collaborative mental health and cleanliness campaign in volunteer project for the academic year 2020. The event took place at the parking lot, recreational areas, and nearby locations. Its primary goal was to foster a sense of unity among students, promote interpersonal relationships, and encourage collective civic responsibility towards society. This initiative was considered instrumental in keeping students away from substance abuse and promoting altruism, as well as instilling a sense of sacrifice and social responsibility in them.
