1. Lectures are organized in the classrooms at the Faculty of Science, Ramkhamhaeng University, and hospitals which are both government and private sectors participating in the project.
2. Implement a semester-based learning system, divided into two regular semesters and one summer semester.
3. Credit allocation for courses follows these criteria:
3.1. Theoretical courses or equivalent require a minimum of 1 hour of lecture per week throughout the regular semester, not less than 15 hours, for 1 credit.
3.2. Practical courses or equivalent are calculated at 3 hours of instruction per week throughout the regular semester or approximately 45 hours, for 1 credit.
3.3. Internships or field practical training are calculated at 8 hours per day, for a continuous period of 7-8 weeks throughout the regular semester or a total of 280-320 hours per course, for 3 credits (total 1020 hours per programme) . Students will undergo internships or field practical training in diagnostic radiology units, radiation therapy units, and nuclear medicine units of various hospitals, both public and private hospitals, under the supervision of internship coordinators and responsible training personnel from those units. Upon completion of the training, there will be a comprehensive examination.
4. For the summer semester, student registration may or may not be dependent on the respective academic department.
5. Regular Semester (Monday-Friday) Elective courses: Monday to Friday, 17:00 - 20:00 and Core courses: Monday to Friday, 9:30 - 16:30.
1. Each student is assigned an academic advisor by the university or faculty. The university may appoint and assign other faculty members or individuals to provide guidance, counseling, and supervision of student learning.
2. The university will organize the registration process for each semester. During registration, students must use the required documents as specified by the university. Dates, times, and locations for registration will be determined by the university.
3. Students must seek advice and obtain approval from their academic advisor before registering for courses. However, first-year students who apply for admission on their own must consult and obtain approval from their advisor or the university-appointed individual before registering for courses in their first semester.
4. In a regular semester, students can register for a maximum of 24 credits, while in the summer semester, registration is limited to a maximum of 12 credits. If a student wishes to register for more credits than specified in the first paragraph, the Dean or an individual appointed by the Dean may approve registration for up to 30 credits in a regular semester and up to 18 credits in a summer semester. This approval must be signed and approved according to the forms or documents specified by the university.
5. If any course has fewer than 10 registered students in a semester, the university may choose to suspend teaching of that course.
1. Assessment of Learning
The assessment of learning follows the regulations of Ramkhamhaeng University, Buddhist Era 2551, Article 16 and Article 20, regarding undergraduate education.
2. Criteria for Academic Success
The criteria for academic success follow the regulations of Ramkhamhaeng University, Buddhist Era 2551, Article 20. Students must complete all required courses as specified in the curriculum and achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of not less than 2.00 every semester.
3. Students must complete all courses according to the curriculum structure and conditions set forth, with a cumulative credit accumulation of not less than 140 credits. They must also pass term paper and comprehensive knowledge of radiological technology examination to be eligible for graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Radiological Technology.
1. Completed upper secondary education (Science-Mathematics-Biology track), or
2. Completed a medical science-related associate degree program (Radiological Technology) or obtained a certificate as a Medical Science Officer (Radiological Technology) accredited by the Thai Commission on Higher Education (TCHE), or
3. Completed a bachelor's degree program in Science, Nursing, Public Health, or related fields from a TCHE-accredited institution, and Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00, and
4. Not physically or mentally disabled, and
5. Passed the entrance examination, either through the Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS) (including TGAT and A-Level) or through direct admission (with a multiple-choice examination totaling 150 points, consisting of 25 points each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, and 50 points for English).
6. The department will accept applications for direct admission once per year, typically around April to May.
