Blind Contour Drawing

Blind Contour Art Statement:The subject of my creation is a bug face. The setting is in a sideways tree. The work was made with sharpie and a Blind Contour. I only used green, red, blue and pink sharpie. I chose to create this because half way through sketching randomly I realized it could be turned into a bug, and I did that, I started to add legs and then a wing pattern and then I drew its brain using a squiggly pattern, and then the rest of its face.I used emphasis on the bug because I put it in the center and made it bigger.

I used soft focus on this on the bug because it is only show casing the bug. My project evolved from a two faces and two hands to a bug inside a tree. I changed the face into a bug body and a hand into part of the bugs face. There is no real meaning behind this except to turn A Blind Contour into a piece of work. I think I could've spent more time on the background and the bug's detail
