What is Saving Smiles?
Saving Smiles of Maine is a non profit organization established to provide access to preventive dental hygiene services for people who do not receive regular dental care.
Saving Smiles operates by coming to our schools and treats students in their dental office (pictured above).

FAQ's ON QUALIFICATION FOR SERVICES
My child has MaineCare dental insurance. Do we qualify for preventive dental hygiene care through the Saving Smiles for Miles Program?
Yes, Saving Smiles accepts MaineCare Insurance.
My child has a regular dentist. Can he/she have preventive dental hygiene care through the Saving Smiles for Miles Program instead?
No, it is encouraged that people who receive regular dental care with a dentist to stay with their dental home. Saving Smiles cannot see patients that have a dentist that they see regularly every year.
My child has regular dental insurance coverage. Will that cover services through the Saving Smiles for Miles Program?
No, Saving Smiles does not accept all insurances. They are a provider for MaineCare participants.
