Grade 1 Summer Math

Students entering Grade 1 have the opportunity to do additional math practice from the calendar and/or packet posted below or use websites for games, activities and practice.   The websites are on page 2 of the packet.

If parents or students prefer a paper calendar or packet, copies are available in the school office.

In addition, students can continue use iReady for "Learning Games."  More ideas available on the Commissioner's Summer Math Challenge! See below.

All students in grades K-5 can continue to play Learning Games throughout the summer.


Students who have a personalized pathway for iReady reading and/or math may continue to use their pathway in the summer through  August 11, 2024Weekly usage is 45 minutes to yield maximum results.

The Connecticut State Department of Education offers the Commissioner's Summer Math Challenge.  The Summer Math Challenge is a free program that helps your child practice math skills taught during the school year. When you enroll your child, you’ll get access to daily fun activities and resources designed for your child’s grade and ability level. There are choices, too!


The 2022 Summer Math Challenge runs from June to August 31, 2024.
