Are you interested in having or being a pen pal? Are you already a pen pal? Do you want to be involved in an online pen pal classroom? Do you want to restart pen pals by sending each other cards, notes, or a hi, how are you doing? through the mail. Pen pals have existed since the 1930, that's almost 90 years ago.

Interested in having a pen pal from around the world or learning with a pen pal, which can also be a lot of fun, or share information from where you are from and learn about places and people from around the world. If you already have friends, relatives who live far away, send them a card, letter, or a note and keep the conversation going. If you need ideas about what to write about, I have those too.

Here are some tips about being a pen pal on line.

#1. Be Safe, always be safe when talking with people online. Keep personal information private, and always have your parent supervise online learning.

#2. Be Curious, ask questions about ideas that are new and different, ask questions when you meet someone from a different country.

#3. Be an Expert, share information about your community to help others learn.

#4. Be Respectful, being helpful, ask questions are ways to be respectful. Show respect by staying on topic, and provide feedback in a positive way.
