The Restorative yoga event was a great way to relax after a week of studies. I recommend this event to anyone who enjoys doing physical activity to relieve stress.

Event description: Prompting physical, emotional, and mental rest, restorative yoga focuses on stillness, rest, and deep breathing, as you slowly move through relaxing long-held poses. Meeting once a week for 60 minutes, you can expect to walk away from each class feeling rested, grounded, and supported, ready to enter the rest of your week. Restorative yoga uses props such as blankets, bolsters, towels, and blocks, letting your body fully sink into each pose.
Reflection: I really enjoyed this event, I think it is something great to do with a friend or by yourself. I was very stressed dealing with schoolwork before the event and after I felt more relaxed. I have never done yoga and I found that this event was very easy to follow along with. I went with my roommate and it was a great way to get in physical activity as well.
