Mrs. Key will host sessions to go over expectations of IB students, requirements, CAS, EE, etc. Please have your students check their email in the summer.
Junior Year:
Junior Year:
Begin 3 or 4 HL courses; may start IAs in these courses
If testing in 2 SL subjects; will complete IAs and sit for those exams (highly recommended to take 2 exams in junior year)
EE will be completed with Mrs. Key (Schoology course) and in IB Literature-the final deadline will be by end of junior year
TOK Exhibition will be completed in Spring
Work on CAS
Results in 4 major assessments (if 2 SL courses are taken)

As you can see, there is a fair amount of work required of IB students. We have done our best to divide the number of major assignments as evenly as possible over the course of 2 years.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that your student does their best to complete College Applications in the summer prior to starting their senior year. This will significantly cut down on the amount of work and stress that students can feel in the fall semester when trying to balance their academic work with college applications.
