IB Courses officially begin in 11th grade and must be taken at Westwood High School by IB trained teachers.
9th and 10th grade students are considered IB Prep. These courses (IB Prep Human Geography and IB Prep US History/AP US History) must be taken at Westwood. Courses on the MATH and FOREIGN LANGUAGE pathways must be taken at Westwood as well
IB course plans will be created with all 10th graders in IB Prep and submitted to the IB Coordinator.

We will create your IB Course Plan in your IB Prep class (Mrs. Key will visit your classes in October)
As you are working on your IB Course Plan, make sure you have:
3 HLs (must be taken junior and senior year)
3 SLs (can be taken junior or senior year if a one year SL; only two SL courses can be completed in 11th grade)
OR 4 HLs and 2 SLs
TOK in spring of junior year and fall of senior year
All IB courses must be taken at Westwood High School by IB trained teachers.
