Oral Reading allows students to bring literature to life. Through this contest, students learn how to read aloud with expression, emotion, and confidence. It helps them develop public speaking skills while deepening their appreciation for poetry and prose.
Students choose a published piece of writing and perform it for an audience and judges. They are encouraged to explore meaning, tone, and rhythm as they read. This contest celebrates both language and performance, giving students the chance to grow as readers and communicators.
