Creative Writing

The Creative Writing Contest inspires young authors to express their imagination through storytelling. It helps students build confidence in their writing, explore new ideas, and develop strong communication skills in a fun and supportive setting.

During the contest, each student receives a page with several pictures and short captions. Using these images as inspiration, students write their own original story in 30 minutes. The story must include at least one of the pictured items, but students can choose to include more if they wish.

This contest encourages students to think creatively, organize their thoughts, and bring their ideas to life through writing. It is an excellent opportunity for second graders who enjoy telling stories or making up adventures.
