Hello and welcome!
I’m absolutely thrilled to begin this school year with you and your child. It’s going to be a year full of learning, growth, and wonderful memories, and I feel so lucky to be a part of your students journey.
A little about me—I was born and raised in Southern California and later made my way to Texas for college, where I attended The University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em Horns!). I’ve completely fallen in love with Austin and enjoy spending my free time exploring the city, getting outdoors, staying active, being with friends and family, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
Before stepping into this role, I spent a full year at Laurel Mountain, where I interned and student-taught in 4th grade. It was an incredible experience that made me even more excited to have a classroom of my own. This will be my second year teaching, and I’m so excited to continue growing and learning alongside my students.
In our classroom, I strive to create a student-centered environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.
I can’t wait to get to know each of you and partner together to make this a fun, enriching, and successful school year for your child!
