Social Media Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Being part of the Marketing team, the Social Media Specialist is a social media guru who is passionate about content creation and understands the social media trends and language inside out! Ideally, a go-getter who is able to share the do's and must-do's for us to position ourselves as thought leaders and engage with the community on our key channels!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the developing original content from ideation and research to execution

  • Execute and manage creative marketing content across a broad range of social media marketing channels

  • Build a following on key social media channels to engage and foster a community relevant for ROAS Media

  • Handle daily operations for all social media channels including managing comments and replying to messages

  • Collaborate with Creative team to brainstorm new and innovative visual communication ideas

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into content needs

  • ​​Continuously research industry trends, insights and translate it into actionable plans for ROAS Media

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years marketing experience in managing social media channels esp LinkedIn and Facebook, YouTube

  • Hands-on experience with all things social & community management

  • Good understanding of digital marketing trends

  • A strong understanding of how to tailor content to different marketing channels

  • Meticulous in ensuring all published content is error-free

  • Highly creative with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Basic proficiency in graphic designing and video editing skills
