MYLDRED HERNANDEZ-GONZALEZ '20

I was involved as President of five clubs, including the Viking CAST club. IB taught me to manage my time well and to approach real world problems with curiosity and creativity.

RACHANA JONNALAGADDA '20

I was heavily involved in many clubs, such as the Viking CAST, CSF, and Esports (I'm a bot lane main who ints constantly and loves off-meta picks). Above all, IB taught me how to think critically, and taught me valuable skills, such as time management. As a result of IB, I discovered (and rediscovered!) my passions in life. The IB teachers constantly supported me and helped me grow as an individual, and as a student. The tight knit IB community helped me become who I am today, and if given the chance, I'd go back in time and do it all over again!

PIPPA WEBER '20

I was a part of cross country and track all 4 years along side many clubs such as: Multicultural club, CAST Club, Sun Club, and for a little while E-Sports. On the weekends I held a job and enjoyed volunteering during the week with other. One important thing to remember is to balance your work so you can make sure to get the full high school experience. More importantly, don't be afraid to try new things on top of school work because your teachers will work with you on balancing out your life. From my experience, we IB kids became a family and would do most activities together, so it just goes to show what the new connections we make end up meaning to us.

HALEY GRAVES '20

I did Multicultural club, eSports (ADC, Kai’Sa main!), CAST club, Sergeant tutoring, a lot of YouTube, and musicals. IB is IB. I liked how close knit IB was because it made for a friendly environment.

KIMI DILLION '20

IB was one of the most transformative experiences I’ve ever had! It’s all about balance: social, educational, and personal. In IB I was able to uphold titles such as Class President and VP while also playing tennis and retaining a good GPA. I loved IB because the teachers are so supportive and worked along side me to help me grow. If I could do it all over again I definitely would because there’s endless opportunities. Just trust the process and you’ll end up in a good spot.

DANA LAOSIRI '20

I was a leader of the service strand of the viking CAST Club, and I was a leader of our tutoring program with Sargeant and Crestmont elementary schools.

HARJN BAINS '20

I was one of the leaders for the Creative branch in Viking Cast club. I was on the tennis varsity team. I really liked the positive and family-like environment that IB created.

BENJAMIN LONGAKER '20

During high school, I ran cross country and track for 4 years, was captain of the chess team, and a member of the eSports club. My favorite part about IB was the strong community we had with each other.
