This newsletter not only informs you about how we keep your children safe and protected but also helps you stay up to date with current safeguarding topics, ensuring you can support their safety at home.

Our Safeguarding Team

All of our staff undertake regular safeguarding training but our safeguarding team have specific responsibility for safeguarding at Roselands.

Worried about a child?

If you feel a child is in immediate danger, please call 999. If you are worried about a child please call the Torbay Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 01803 208100 or email mash@torbay.gov.uk

Out of office hours please call: 0300 456 4876

You can also report any safeguarding concerns about a child online via the online NSPCC tool.

Our Website

As a reminder, we have a safeguarding page on our school website with lots of information on, including our safeguarding policies. Please feel free to contact us at any point if you have any questions.

Online Safety

One area of our website that parents find particularly helpful is this page, which has multiple posters explaining the age rating and information about lots of different apps. We update this regularly in line with our children’s online usage.
