Fremont Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in the District, built in 1917. The site currently has 12 portable classroom buildings. As part of Measure O, Fremont Elementary will receive the following updates:

• New 2-Story and single story 12-classroom buildings with (6) general education classrooms and (6) kindergarten classrooms with interior/exterior restrooms, new playground equipment/surfacing, landscape, covered walkway and storage

• Site work includes the removal of four portables and demolition of existing building J, new kindergarten play yard, hard court play yard area, turf, ADA upgrades, new visitor parking lot that includes fifteen (15) regular and two (2) ADA accessible parking stalls, re-stripe and slurry seal existing staff parking lot, upgrades to the site utilities that include domestic water, sewer, storm drain, gas, and electrical power

• ADA upgrades around existing classrooms, refurbishing the roofs and reconfiguration work of the administration building office which include interior/exterior painting of these areas
