With your free pet parent account, you can:

• Create profiles for one or multiple pets

• Build your care circle by inviting trusted caregivers

• Organize providers and emergency contacts

• Store essential pet details, routines, and notes

Every pet’s story is unique — and so is the way you’ll use The Riley Roo Way™.  That’s why we start everyone with our Freemium Starter Plan: the essentials you need to build your pet’s world, without limits on love or community.

When your pet’s journey expands — more RooSources™, more community, more memories — you’ll have the option to grow with it.

Our Freemium Starter Pack of RooSources™

Every new pet parent is automatically enrolled in our Freemium Plan which comes preloaded with a generous starter pack of RooSources™—our premium tools designed to help you do even more for your pet and their community.

With your starter RooSources™, you can:

• Add calendar events for appointments, wellness routines, and special milestones

• Create quick links for one-tap access to feeding instructions, contacts, or care tips

• Send care requests to coordinate with your pet’s caregiver community.

• Store important info, like vet records, medication details, and behavior logs

How to Upgrade:

Your RooSource™ Center is the heart of your account — it’s where you’ll always know exactly what you have, and what’s possible next.

1. Go to Settings > RooSource™ Center

2. Check your balances (for RooSources™ + Storage)

Is Storage a RooSource™ Too?

Not quite. Storage is its own standalone subscription—separate from the RooSources™.  Storage is scalable based on your needs and work alongside your RooSources™.

Your Freemium Plan includes a base amount of storage to get started. If you need more, you can add a Storage Subscription—completely separate from RooSources™—and choose the space that fits your household and file needs.

If you’re running low, choose the subscription/s that fits your journey and needs:

• Essentials Plan (capped): For busy households juggling routines, requests, and records.

• Unlimited Plan: For families who want everything, with no RooSource caps.

• Storage Add-On: For those who keep every vet record, photo, or paw print — and need extra room.

Your pet’s world, your pace. You can upgrade RooSources, storage, or both — whenever you’re ready.

Managing Your Plan

• Upgrade anytime: Get immediate access to more RooSources or storage.

• Downgrade anytime: Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

• Cancel anytime: You’ll keep access through the end of your current billing cycle.

Roo Tip: Make any cancellations or downgrades at least 5 business days before your next billing cycle so changes apply on time. We don’t offer pro-rated refunds, but you’ll keep full access until your cycle ends.

Privacy Controls: Who Can See My Information or My Pet’s Profile?

Your privacy—and your pet’s—is important to us. That's why, your pet’s profile is yours to manage — and you control who sees what and when.

Here’s what you need to know: 

• By default, only the pet parent see their pet’s full profile(s); 

• Caregivers can only see pets they've agreed to care for, and only the information that's been shared with them — like care details. 

• Private notes or documents stay hidden unless you choose to share them;

• You can manage document access, event visibility, and contact permissions within each section.

No public pet pages. No social media exposure. Just care, connection, and security.

How to Edit and Delete a Pet's Profile?

Editing your Pet's Profile:

Pets grow, routines shift, and—let’s be real—sometimes the nickname does become the real name. That’s why editing a pet profile is quick and easy.  

Here’s how:

1. Go to the My Pets tab

2. Tap on your pet’s profile

3. Hit the Edit button

4. Update any fields—name, photo, breed, birthday, notes, or tags

5. Tap Save to confirm your changes

Your updates will reflect immediately across your pet’s care space.

Deleting your pet’s profile: 

Because pet profiles and parent accounts can hold valuable health records, memories, and shared routines, deletion is a conscious, multi-step process.

1. Navigate to the Pet Info Hub
   
   

2. Click on the pet’s profile card
   
   

3. Select Settings from the pet’s profile menu
   
   

4. Scroll down to the Delete Pet Profile section
   
   

5. Confirm deletion — you’ll be asked twice to ensure you’re sure

🛑 Roo Tip: Before deleting your account, we recommend:

• Exporting any important documents

• Letting caregivers know access will be removed

This cannot be undone. Once confirmed, the pet’s profile and all associated information will be permanently removed from your account. This action cannot be undone.
