The RAINBOW Project is run by Senior High students to raise education, awareness, and create events for the LGBTQ+ students in RHS. Every year we work and plan to improve the well-being and representation in this school. We started this website as a resource hub for our educational content, and a way for the LGBTQ+ community to become visible for our school community.
Read through the Slides Presentation to see what we’re planning for this year... it gets updated annually so you can see what the Senior students are working on.
Queer Club is a free and open space that queers and allies spend time together. Queer Club was started by student Alex Willix-Payne to allow other LGBTQ+ students to feel comfortable inside the school. We know in our society any member of the LGBTQ+ can feel distant, excluded, and possibly discriminated against.
In Queer Club you can meet like minded individuals who can express themselves in any way they want to (in a respectful manner). We hear that students feel safe in this environment, so if you’re looking for a grand place to unwind, come over to Queer Club!

Swapped is a trans support group. If you’re feeling that you’re questioning your gender, have a friend who may be questioning their gender, or want to support trans people, you can come over and we can discuss.
We want all trans students, or students questioning their gender to be comfortable and know they’re not alone. We want you to know that trans people are absolutely a regular part of society, and their integration to be seen equally is our goal.
