Gender does not have to be stagnant, it is able to change over time. It does not mean any less if gender to a person acts as phases or if it's an absolute. This page looks at a subcategory of non-binary identities where gender is morphing or is broad. Genderqueer is the umbrella term to these identities.
Just a reminder that these identities below are just examples of the range of gender identities/feelings. You may feel like you have a completely different way of understanding your gender -- there really can be as many genders as there are people.

Do not confuse this term with Two-Spirit – a gender identity specific to certain Native American and First Nations cultures.
Bigender is a gender identity which can be literally translated as 'two genders' or 'double gender'. Bigender people experience exactly two gender identities, either simultaneously or varying between the two. These two gender identities could be male and female, but could also include nonbinary identities. They only experience two, no more and no less, only two.
