Fatu Feu'u
Room 26 has based their Art on the work of Fatu Feu'u. He is a Samoan-New Zealand artist who explores motifs of the Pacific, in particular his Samoan culture. His work has a strong modernist interpretation.

Each student has a grid of four squares. The materials they used were chalk, oil pastel and black dye. They developed their designs and transferred them onto their card in chalk. We focused on colour blending with oil pastel and developing strong shapes based on Pacifica designs. Two of their squares were hot colours (oranges, yellows and reds) and the other two were cold colours (blues, greens and purples). They finished their work with a black dye wash.
