Equipment purchased with EANS/GAPS funds is the property of TEA/Region 10 and is at the private school on a loan.
Non-public schools will submit an inventory of equipment and a physical inventory will be conducted of inventory at least once each calendar year.

Guidance from the U.S. Department of Education and Texas Education Agency gives private non-public schools in Texas the FLEXIBILITY to spend their funds the way they see best to meet the unique needs of each school as a result of Covid 19. All requests must be allowable per the terms of the grant, reasonable and necessary; however, schools are not limited to items in their approved application. Schools no longer need to request a Special Circumstance to spend funds in a category that was not approved on their application.
Each school has a total allocation for EANS I and EANS II. Class Wallet allows schools the FLEXIBILITY to spend their allocation:
in ANY category or section (reimbursement or procurement), (PPE, air purifiers, ed tech, etc.) regardless of the approved EANS I application(s).
in ANY category or section (procurement ONLY) regardless of the approved EANS II application.
Schools that received EANS II and GAPS funds can ONLY utilize GAPS funds for Safety and Security.
