Chapter Internal First Aid Duties
Standardisation of First Aid Bag Contents and Forms
ALL chapters are to ensure that first aid supplies are standardised with the first aid bag inventory list and Casualty Registration & Treatment Log form provided by the Community Resilience department of the Singapore Red Cross Society.
Restock of First Aid Supplies
The chapter shall request for restock of first aid supplies at least 1 month in advance of any usage needs, using the prescribed Google Form.
Should there be sufficient existing supplies, the Chapter shall send members to assist in retrieval and packing of the required first aid supplies from Red Cross Training Campsite, 62 Jalan Khairuddin Singapore 457524.
An order will be placed by RCY for direct delivery to the Chapter, if there is insufficient existing supplies of the required items.
First aid trained chapter members may be deployed to support the First Aiders on Wheels (FAOW) programme at the East Coast Park every weekend and on public holidays, to provide first aid to injured park-goers.
As a trained first aider, you may also sign up for other Community First Aid (CFA) activities via the SRC Volunteer Portal.
First aid trained chapter members may be deployed as Safe Steps First Aid (SSFA) facilitators to support RCY events (conducted islandwide) and the Humanitarian Trail (conducted at campsite).

Project R.I.C.E+
Project R.I.C.E+ is an annual community service project of the Singapore Red Cross Society, initiated by members of the Red Cross Youth Chapters, aimed at supporting the less fortunate families in Singapore with food and other daily household necessities.
Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) is a monitoring system using sensors placed around the home. When unusual patterns are detected (inactive, fall, etc.) or when the user activates the panic button, the Red Cross' call centre is notified immediately. Depending on the situation, community responders or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be dispatched to provide assistance.
Call 6664 0699, or email home.plus@redcross.sg to get HoME+ today for your loved ones.
Active volunteers with the Community Services department will be invited to join as a Home+ Responder!
Other HQ-Led Volunteer Opportunities are also available upon updating your relevant Skills/Licenses/Certificates section under My Profile page in the SRC Volunteer Portal. In addition, you can also indicate your Interests in Generic Volunteer Roles, Skill-based Volunteer Roles and even Professional Volunteer Roles!
