Safeguarding and Prevent

Redbridge Institute is committed to providing a welcoming environment where everyone is respected, valued, and feels safe and secure. Safeguarding means protecting a citizen’s health, wellbeing and human rights and  enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect.  Prevent is about safeguarding and supporting those vulnerable to radicalisation. Prevent is 1 of the 4 elements of CONTEST, the Government’s counter-terrorism strategy. It aims to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.
