E-Safety

E-Safety can also be called ‘internet safety’, ‘online safety’ or ‘web safety’.  E-Safety is often defined as the safe and responsible use of technology. This includes the use of the internet and also other means of communication using electronic media (eg text messages, gaming devices, email etc). In practice, e-safety is as much about behaviour as it is electronic security.

As part of your course, you will need to access the internet and your Google Classroom in order to be able to complete your studies.  If you need help to get online and develop your digital skills, there is a lot of support available.  When you first start here, you will be given a login to help you access you account and your tutor will make sure that you can get online.
