What is Asthma?
Asthma is a condition that affects a person breathing and the airway becomes inflamed. Some signs children can exhibit are coughing, wheezing, or shortness of breath. This is caused by the airway constricting from inflammation and filling with mucus.
Asma es una afección que causa problemas para respirar. Los niños pueden toser, tener resuello, emitir "pitos" al respirar o faltarles el aliento. Esto ocurre porque las vías respiratorias que van hacia los pulmones se inflaman, se estrechan y se llenan de mucosidades.
