K. Judgement and Problem Analysis

As part of my Professional Growth Plan and our Second Grade PLC work, my colleagues and I used Social Emotional Curriculum (Zones of Regulation and Second STEP) to create SEL WIN (Whatever I Need) groups

  • Identify the elements of a problem situation by analyzing relevant information, framing issues, identifying possible causes, and reframing possible solutions.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and conceptual flexibility.
  • Identify and give priority to significant issues.

Created an on-going list for STEMtastic Camp which highlighted items for change/ problems and solutions to help make the camp run more efficiently next year.

  • Reach logical conclusions my making quality, timely decisions, based on available information.
  • Assist others in forming opinions about problems and issues.

Created Math W.I.N. Groups based on data collected through aMath. Provided differentiated instruction and fluid groups as data changed.
