Defensive back on CHASE High football team Garret Hampton broke and set the interceptions thrown (INT) record. He feels good because all of his hard work is finally paying off. “I don’t focus on breaking records I want to win a state championship,” Hampton said. His motivation in football is that he just loved football. “I would like to continue my college career because it has always been a dream and any college where I feel is home.” A lot of people have inspired him as well but mainly his brothers. “Don’t ever stop working on your game,” Hampton states for the younger football players.
