The Chosen Trojan Student

To be a Chosen Trojan Student means to have enough school spirit to want to be a part of school activities or get involved in after school clubs or anything that the school may have to offer. Dulce Luna represents that and much more; she was nominated by one of her teachers here at CHASE High School.

Teachers are able to leave comments in the comment section of the nomination form for The Trojan Torch. This teacher stated, “She is always upbeat and school spirited. She completes all of her work in my class and is ready to help other students if needed.” Dulce is caring and considerate of her peers; when she sees a friend struggling, she makes it her job to help the ones in need.

The most important thing that students can learn from Dulce is to be helpful. Every student and staff member here should come together to make up the great school that it can be! That’s exactly what Dulce does for her friends.

When asked what her goals in life are she responded by stating that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to become a Chiropractor or a Radiologist. She is currently taking classes for Health Science II and Career Management. Dulce also helps out during school as a Library Assistant along with being in the Leadership class. Many students can’t say that they have been a part of almost every club that CHASE High has to offer, but Dulce can; she takes part in the Beta Club, Tech Club, New Century Scholars, Bleacher Creatures, Future Farmers of America, and The National Technical Honors Society.

There are many activities that Dulce loves to participate in, however when questioned about what she is proud of accomplishing here at school, Dulce answered that she is very proud of introducing new teachers to our school and showing them what CHASE High has to offer.

Dulce looks up to the people who are closest to her, like her Mother, who Dulce says had a rough life being a single parent. Dulce’s brother has been like a father-figure to her and supports her. Her boyfriend has always been there for her and motivates her to play sports. “It is an honor to be chosen as the Chosen Trojan by teachers and get recognized for my work,” stated Dulce.
