Community Based Pre-Vocational Services--- Community Based Pre-Vocational services deliver training in skills related to current and future employment opportunities. The people Holy Childhood supports in this program receive skills training in a variety of settings on the Holy Childhood campus and in the community, including at Special Touch Bakery, Inc. As of October 2019, Holy Childhood’s site-based, prevocational program is now doing business as Partners with Industry. Partners with Industry is a non-certified, integrated community-based enterprise providing custom contract packaging and fulfillment services. Holy Childhood offers paid and volunteer opportunities through its Community Based Pre-Vocational program.
Day Habilitation---The people supported in Holy Childhood’s Day Habilitation Programs are able to take part in a wide variety of activities on campus and within the Rochester Community. Front Line Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals work directly with participants to develop necessary skills that will allow them to become more independent in areas that include, but are not limited to, communication, daily living skills, personal care, wellness initiatives and social skills development. Holy Childhood’s Day Habilitation Program offers 3 different types of programmatic options in effort to accommodate each individual’s skill set.
Community Habilitation--- Community Habilitation services are supports that are provided to participants individually or within small groups. These supports can be delivered at any non-certified location, including the person’s home. Community Habilitation services primarily deliver services that facilitate community inclusion, promote independence, and nurture person centered goals.
