On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the greatest college football rivalry game between The Ohio State University and University of Michigan was played. There were 111,373 people in the Michigan stadium and hundreds of thousands who watched on television. This game was a highly anticipated game due to the intense and emotional rivalry. The OSU Michigan rivalry started all the way back in 1897 and has been increasing in intensity for the last 128 years. The fans are very passionate and demonstrate their loyalty by trash talking the other team and wearing jerseys to show their support for their favorite team. 

The OSU Michigan rivalry game was referred to on the internet as ¨THE GAME¨ partially due to the high stakes of the outcome. Ohio State was ranked the #1 college team by the College Football Playoff (CFP) Selection Committee and Michigan was ranked #15. The CFP is a 13-member committee that ranks the top 25 teams to seed the 12-team playoff bracket. 

This year, OSU beat Michigan on Saturday in an exciting comeback. OSU had not beat Michigan since 2019. There was a lot of pressure riding on OSU because head coach Ryan Day faced a lot of criticism when his team lost to Michigan last year, many people even called for the firing of Coach Day. However, Coach Day and the Buckeyes went on to win the national championship for the 2024/2025 season. OSU quarterback, Julian Sayin, totally dominated in a 27 to 9 win against the Michigan Wolverines. There were many other players who helped pull out a win for the Buckeyes like Jeremiah Smith, Bo Jackson, and Bryce Underwood. In the end, Ohio State pulled out the win!
