Option 2
Option 2 allows students to fulfill the graduation/credit requirements either in whole or in part through completion of a program that may incorporate personalized learning opportunities. Approval of the Principal is required to receive credit for Option 2.
Additional requirements for graduation include:
• Cross-content workplace readiness as described in the State Standards is integrated into content areas in grades 9-12.
All students must meet proficiency standards on NJ state assessments as defined by the NJ DOE. For the Class of 2023, students must meet proficiency cut scores on the NJ Graduation Proficiency Assessment in Gr. 11 (≥750 in ELA and Mathematics tests). See link above for info on NJDOE-approved alternative pathways for this requirement.
Senior students must complete an approved Profile Project as outlined in the Profile Project Handbook. The Profile Project is a culminating project, aligned to the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate, developed by students with support from staff. To assist in the completion of this requirement, certain Profile courses have been developed. Those classes are listed in this curriculum guide and noted as Profile courses.
