Meal Distribution

Due to the extended school closure, the District will continue to provide lunch to students who are on the free and reduced lunch program. Ramsey High School will be the preparation kitchen used by our food service provider - Chartwells. See below for the distribution method. Lunches will be picked up at the high school and delivered to the home of each qualified student by district bus.

All 5 meal components will be included. For example, on Tuesday, March 17th served:

• turkey and cheese sandwich

• milk

• apple juice

• celery and carrot sticks

The plan will continue as long as needed until school reopens. Food safety requirements will be met as they always are in our kitchen during receiving, holding and production of meals. Extra vigilance in regards to personal hygiene will be a priority. Delivery of meals will take place in "batches" so no time or temperature rules are abused.
