Grade 3 Profile projects

Grade 3 students at Hubbard and Tisdale recently completed their Profile Projects and presented them to parents and guardians at Exhibit Night. Congratulations to all of the third grade teachers who guided them through this process.

The Teaching of argument writing from K through 12

Over the course of the last few months, Mr. Lacherza has shared how we teach students in Ramsey to communicate clearly and effectively through opinion and argument writing from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Getting ready for dater

Grade 3 students from Tisdale and Hubbard recently visited Dater School as they get ready to make the big move in September. Thank you to all of the Dater students and teachers for welcoming them with open arms.

On May 18th, Dater School hosted a night to celebrate the visual and performing arts including an art show, the spring chorus concert, and the 5th grade band concert. Congratulations to Mrs. Hudson, Mr. Bogert, and Mr. Jacobsen.

Field days at Dater

Grade 4 and Grade 5 students recently completed successful Field Days at Finch Park. Special thanks to Mr. Carlberg and the Dater PTO for organizing and running the events.

Smith goes to boston

This year the 8th grade took their class trip to Boston, MA to take in many of the historical and cultural sites.

Students at Smith School presented their Mock Trial case in front of an authentic audience. Their critical thinking and collaboration skills were on full display. Thanks to Mr. Schrettner and Ms. Kelly for advising and for the many teachers who served as judge and jury.

Defenses continue at RHS

Students from Mr. Frangione's Human Centered Statistics course recently completed the Defense of Learnings for their Profile Projects. Picture here is JJ Cichonski who created a simulated government experiment through the use of the Minecraft gaming platform to explore a bigger question about the most effective form of government.
