Profile defense!

Senior Janey Ratto delivered her Defense of Learning to a panel of faculty members on Tuesday, February 16. Janey presented her Profile Project on research about Sexual Assault in the College Environment. In her Defense, she reflected upon and provided evidence of how she grew in competencies such Critical Thinking, Communication, and Self Direction.

Another Profile Defense!

Senior Grant Holbrook delivered his Defense of Learning in front of a panel of faculty on Tuesday, February 16. Grant presented his Profile Project on creating a podcast on the college recruiting process. In his Defense, he reflected upon and provided evidence of how he grew in competencies such as Communication, Self Direction, and Adaptability.

Excellence in Band...

Senior Abigail Lim earned a place in the 2021 National Association for Music Education (NAfM) All-Eastern Honors Ensembles for Band! All-Eastern Honor Ensembles are composed of students from 12 states, and represent some of the finest high school musicians in the country.

Four Ramsey High School students were accepted into the 2021 National Association for Music Education (NAfM) All-Eastern Honors Ensembles for Chorus! Seniors Allison Los and Bailey Felderman were accepted into the Treble Chorus; Juniors Joseph Muscarelle and Thomas Gilligan gained seats in the Mixed Chorus

Poetry Out Loud

Sophomore Abigail Schwartz was named a Region 4 Finalist in the New Jersey Poetry Out Loud competition.

1:1 Breakout rooms in Grade 2 at Tisdale

the chromebooks have arrived!

During February new Chromebooks were distributed to all middle school students and all K-2 classrooms are now equipped with 1:1 Chromebooks as well. Above, two students in Mrs. Crispino's second grade class at Hubbard take advantage of their new tool!

Dater to Smith pipeline

Band teacher Mrs. Hanratty and a few other teachers from Smith recently visited the 5th graders at Dater to get them excited about all of the great opportunities at the middle school.

Referendum projects moving along

The referendum projects keep moving along with the new Kindergarten rooms at Tisdale and Hubbard along with Visual and Performing Arts addition at Smith will be all ready to go for September 2021. Above is a rendering of the new Band room at Smith.
