Grade 11 courses affect your post-secondary plans! Here's all the information you'll need.
Choosing the correct Grade 11 courses is very important. Grade 11 courses are often prerequisite courses for Grade 12 courses, and some can even count towards your admissions to college or university programs.
E.G.: Grade 11 U Biology (SBI3U) is required before you can take Grade 12 U Biology (SBI4U)
NOTE: this is not the case for college level science courses, where there is either Grade 11 OR Grade 12 courses.
It is recommended that you take some time to explore career and post-secondary program options before selecting your grade 11 and 12 courses. Speak to your parents, guidance counsellors and teachers about your preferences and choices.
NOTE: Full course descriptions are available through www.myBlueprint.ca, or by contacting the department directly.
Also take note of the eLearning/Dual Credit options when planning your choices.
