FAI 5 a-side soccer tournament

Our sixth class soccer teams took part in the 5 a-side soccer tournament for the Ballina area. One of our teams emerged victorious after hard earned victories over a number of local teams. The final against Breaffy NS, in particular, was a captivating contest with the teams finishing level after ordinary time. The teams could not be separated after five minutes extra time and so the contest went to three penalties each. We emerged victorious with the slimmest of margins. Well done to all boys in sixth class who represented the school so well.
