Billing Formula / Pricing Tiers - Manual Guide

STEP 1: Go to the Pricing Tab

This section (Pricing Tab) allows the utility provider to define structured, tiered water rates based on the volume of water consumed (m^3) and the consumer classification.

Switch Rate Profile

Click "Global (Default)" to view standard rates, or click a subdivision name (e.g. "Mondello Homes") to view or set custom rates for that subdivision only.

STEP 2: Edit Flat Rate

Click the "Edit" button on the flat rate box to update the required base rate. Input the new Flat Rate (₱ per m³), then adjust Effectivity Period: Start Date and End Date (Optional) if needed. Click "Update" to save.

STEP 3: Add Pricing Tier

Click the "Add Tier" button to create a new pricing tier. Input Cubic From (m³), Cubic To (m³), Surcharge Rate (₱/m³), and Effectivity Period: Start Date and End Date (Optional). Click "Save Tier" to save the new pricing tier.

STEP 4: Edit Pricing Tier

Click the "Edit" button on an existing tier surcharge row to modify its details. Update Cubic From (m³), Cubic To (m³), Surcharge Rate (₱/m³), or Effectivity Period as needed, then click "Update Tier" to save.

STEP 5: Edit Pricing Tier

Click the "Edit" button on an existing tier surcharge row to modify its details. Update Cubic From (m³), Cubic To (m³), Surcharge Rate (₱/m³), or Effectivity Period as needed, then click "Update Tier" to save.

STEP 6: Disable Pricing Tier

Click the "Disable" button on an active tier surcharge row to deactivate it. The status badge changes from "ACTIVE" to inactive, and the tier stops applying to billing calculations.

STEP 7: Disable Pricing Tier

Click the "Refresh" button at the top-right of the Pricing Management page to reload the latest pricing data from the system.
