Being the Star of the Week means everyone gets to learn more about YOU and celebrate the wonderful ways you make our classroom a brighter place!
Q: How can my child become Star of the Week?
A: Your child can become the Star of the Week by:
Being kind and respectful to friends and teachers
Trying their best in class activities and helping others
Sharing their favorite things (e.g., toys) with the class
Being a positive role model and making our classroom a happy place
Note: Each child will have a turn, so every little star gets the chance to sparkle, share, and shine their special light!
Q: How can I encourage my child to become Star of the Week?
A: Parents can encourage their child at home by talking about kindness, respect, and sharing, and helping them feel excited about being the special star for the week.
Q: How will I know my child is the Star of the Week?
A: The weekend before it is their time to sparkle, your child will receive a magical “All About Me” poster to decorate and return on Monday of their star week. They will also get some fun details about the special activities we have planned just for them! In addition, your child can bring the items to and from school in the the special Star of the Week tote bag.
