The Performance Stream T-Shirt and optional items can be purchased via the Dance Office at the beginning of each year. All other items are available from the College Uniform Shop.
All performers must arrive in their first costume with hair and makeup done at the venue with appropriate Eisteddfod Uniform Garments over the top. All additional costumes must travel in the provided Pymble Dance Garment Bag. Students will also take their School Bag to the Eisteddfod with them.

Makeup: All students are required to wear the following makeup; foundation, red lipstick, blush, neutral eye shadow (not blue), eyeliner and mascara.

Students must sign out with their teacher at the end of their final performance and arrange a place to meet their parents.
Parents are responsible for transporting their daughter to and from each Eisteddfod.
Filming the competition is strictly prohibited and can result in disqualification. An official Video Operator will film every competitor and the footage will be emailed to Pymble Dance within ten days of the competition. In participating in this Eisteddfod, you agree to the competition using your daughter’s images/video snippets to promote the event.

Due to this Eisteddfod falling on a Friday evening, please be aware of Friday traffic congestion if you are planning drive your daughter to the event. We suggest allowing an hour travel time from Pymble to the venue.
Onsite parking is available. Please allow enough time to potentially park walking distance away from the venue.
Spectator tickets are available for $25 per session if pre-purchased via trybooking.
Please note: Spectator tickets are for each session and are in the form of a wristband which is exchanged for your Trybooking QR code at the registration desk with DLU staff – please arrive early to register and claim your wristband for session entry. DLU staff must fix the wristband to your wrist and they cannot be shared. Spectator fees help pay for the expensive venue and all other associated costs to run the event.

Parking – limited parking available at Gate 1A Ada Avenue. Parking is available on the surrounding streets including Ada Avenue, Lucinda Avenue, The Glade. Parking onsite in the Abbotsleigh parking lot is not available prior to midday due to school sport. Please make safe and smart choices when parking, dropping off and picking up. Although there is some onsite parking, there will certainly not be enough on troupe days. Please allow enough time to potentially park walking distance away from the venue.

Staff and students will depart from the College via bus at 9.00am and students will be absent for the whole school day. Students are permitted to watch the other schools’ performances between their own. This viewing opportunity ensures a rich and valuable learning experience for the students. All students are to meet in Main Hall 1 at 8.15am (the beginning of Period 1) with Hair and Makeup already done. Staff and students will depart from the event via bus at approx. 1.45pm. Students will assemble in Main Hall 2 in Period 5 upon returning from the event until regular school dismissal at 3.20pm (end of Period 5).

Contemporary White
Please read carefully below for all details regarding the Australian Dance Festival. This event is a compulsory commitment for all Contemporary White members, and attendance is expected. Students will be marked in an event for academic classes. Should you have any concerns please contact dance@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au
The purpose of Pymble participating in the event is to provide opportunities for our dancers beyond our studios. On Resonate Day students will participate in workshops, technical rehearsals, and a performance.

Friday 19 September 2025
Members of Contemporary White will be participating in the ‘Resonate’ workshops and show on Friday 19 September. Resonate is only open to primary and high school students.
Quay Centre and Netball Central: Corner Sarah Durack Avenue and Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127
9.00am: Year 7 to 11 students to arrive at Quaycentre and sign in with Miss Steph and Miss Sam
9.30am to 10.00am: Complete a safety induction
10.00am to 12.15pm: Students to participate in two Dance Workshops (Exclusive to Students from Primary/ High schools only)
12.15pm to 1.00pm: Lunch Break
1.00pm: The Australian Dance Festival will open to the general public
1.00pm to 4.20pm: Student can participate in three ADF Dance Workshops
4.30pm to 5.20pm: Resonate Tech Rehearsals. Year 12 students must sign in with Miss Cluff.
4.30pm to 6.00pm: TBA
6.00pm to 7.00pm: Students can visit the exhibitors at the Australian Dance Festival and also have dinner etc.
7.00pm: Doors Open for Resonate and ABDC Show. Performers must be backstage
7.30pm to 10.00pm: Resonate and ABDC Shows and Awards
10.00pm: Shows Finish and Venue is closed. All students must sign out with Mrs Pettigrew before departing.
Students to meet at the venue, transport is Parent responsibility.
Meeting time and location for Year 12 students: 4.25pm at the venue for tech rehearsals.
Meeting time and location for all other students: 9.00am at the Front Entrance
Departure from the event: Departure from the event requires parent collection. Students must see Mrs Pettigrew to sign out before they leave.
All students accounts will be charged $115.00 in Term 3 for the event.
The charge is inclusive of the ADF Event fee, bus transport, and professional makeup for the performance.
Students are permitted to wear their own ‘mufti’ dance attire for the workshops but need to have their Pymble Eisteddfod T-Shirt over the top for arrival and departure.
Students will need to bring all costume garments, hair and makeup supplies, and shoes required for their Contemporary White routine. All costumes must travel in the provided Pymble Dance Garment Bag.

There will be food outlets set up within the venue that will offer food and drinks, however we recommend students bring their own food with them. Students will not be permitted to leave the Quay Centre vicinity to purchase food.

Please meet Dance Staff in the Dance Studio and be signed in by a member of staff here. Please meet at 9.30am. Once dancers have performed, they will return to the Dance Studio for pickup escorted by Dance Staff. Please note pickup will be at 11.15am from the Dance Studio.
Students will be performing in an ‘stage’ space that will be curated at the bottom of the Chapel steps, and parents are welcomed to watch their daughters perform here.
Students are to wear Pymble Dance T-shirts and their Navy Claire duo shorts or tights and sneakers (this includes Contemporary and Lyrical Troupes).
Jazz and Lyrical: hairstyle of own choice. Must be out of student’s face.

Filming the competition is strictly prohibited and can result in disqualification. An official Video Operator will film every competitor and the footage will be emailed to Pymble Dance within ten days of the competition. In participating in this Eisteddfod, you agree to the competition using your daughter’s images/video snippets to promote the event.

Please keep costumes hung up at all times.
Air out or wash costumes if needed between Eisteddfods.
Always check items in Garment Bag before and after an Eisteddfod.
Report any missing or damaged items to dance department.
Costumes are the property of Pymble Ladies’ College, and any misplaced or damaged costumes will be charged at full price.
Please take extra care with makeup for white/light coloured costumes.
Gently hand wash garments separately in cold water, using a mild liquid detergent. Take care with any Beads and Sequins.
