Welcome to 7th Grade Chorus!

By the end of 7th grade chorus, you will...

• Sing music up to four parts with accompaniment

• Sing up to 3 parts without accompaniment

• Know the terminology and process of all musical symbols within the music you perform

• Aurally identify if a song is major or minor 

• Count with numbers simple and compound time signatures of a level 2 out of 5

• Effectively articulate your own musical ideas using a general  language of musical terms and definitions

• Find “Do” in any key signature and sight-sing two melodic patterns

• Identify the musical form of your concert repertoire
