Schoolinks is a student centered college, career, and life readiness platform. It has various college and career resources for students. It is accessed through auth.pvschools.net. All of the tasks outlined below must be completed through Schoolinks.

To release current student transcripts to various schools, scholarship organizations, and athletic programs, there are certain steps you need to follow. Please watch the instructional video below. All official Horizon HS transcript requests must be completed in Schoolinks. (We are unable to access transcripts for students enrolled in dual enrollment, early college, community college programs - you must request those transcripts from the institution).

Letter of Recommendation Request:

Students are strongly encouraged to meet with their recommender directly and supply them with any relevant information they may need to write the student a strong recommendation letter. Remember to thank them when they have submitted the letter!
If your college or program application needs a letter of recommendation, please notify the teacher/counselor.
If you are using the Common App, a Counselor Letter of Recommendation is almost always required and automatically requested so do not request from them as a teacher.
If you are needing to upload a Letter of Request from a former teacher is not currently working at Horizon please speak with your Counselor for alternative ways to upload letters.

Using the Common App to apply for colleges? You will need to match your Common App account with Naviance. This enables your Counselor and Teachers to submit the required documents. Watch the video below for instructions on setting up your CA account, adding schools, and how to complete the FERPA Waiver.
