National Security Language Initiative for Youth

Summer Health Institute, Arizona State University
(11th) Opportunity to live on the ASU Downtown campus for a week. Students experience inter-professional health related activities including 3 hours of daily simulation at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix campus (suturing, IV’s, intubation, scrubbing, etc.), interactions with members of the health care team, and tours of health care facilities located within the health corridor of Arizona. Explore career opportunities in the health fields, take college level coursework in English & science, and attend hands-on demonstrations and tours of the healthcare/research facilities. KEYS Internship Program, University of Arizona

TGen Bioscience Leadership Academy
(10th, 11th) For rising juniors or seniors. Graduataes of the program get a $1,000 schoarship. A 2-week bioscience program includes intensive education (lab shadowing, bioethics, technical skills, etc.) and leadership training.
