Mr. Omoth has been the librarian at PHS since July 2020.  Prior to that, he was a classroom teacher and elementary and high school librarian in the Gallup McKinley County School District.  His Bachelor's Degree is in Elementary Education and his Master's Degree is in Library and Information Science.  He has made many changes in the Pinon High Library; old books have been weeded, new ones acquired and an ebook collection was established.  The physical arrangement has also undergone a huge change; shelving has been moved and the space has been opened up, taking advantage of the natural light from the large windows.  Come in and check out the changes and check out a book!
