What does the Student Support Facilitator do?

• Support students with attendance, behavior interventions, and academic planning

• Make referrals for long-term support for students

• Help and encourage students to pursue their future goals

• Coordinate student/staff/parent of the month recognition

What does the school counselor do?

• Helps with planing for post-secondary options (higher education, workforce, military)

• Short-term counseling to students

• Individual-student academic planning and goal setting

• Assists students with coping, study, and organization skills
